A culmination of many of the other digital tools our office uses, digital planning takes the inputs from other modalities to plan, to a high degree of accuracy, cases before ever putting hands in your mouth.

Our office has the full suite of laboratory grade software at our location. While most of our prostheses are still fabricated by our trusted laboratory partners, having the tools in house has led to improved communication and outcomes for our patients.

Dental implant surgical planning is one of the more interesting applications of digital planning. In which, CBCT (3D x-ray) data and intraoral surface scans of your teeth are married together in specialized software. This combined image becomes a canvas on which the ideal implant size, shape, and positioning can be planned.

This plan can then be put into action by printing a surgical guide that directs the surgeon to that exact placement during surgery. In complex cases involving replacement of entire arches, this technology is accurate enough to predictably fabricate a temporary, fully-fixed prosthesis for delivery the same day the dental implants are placed.
