3D printing

3D printing is one of the most significant advances in dentistry in recent years. We have a printer in the office, as do most of the laboratories we work with.

It is highly accurate and has replaced traditional plaster models. We use 3D-printed models for nearly all of the following:

• Study models for planning complex cases
• Crowns & bridges
• Dental implant restorations
• Retainers & mouthguards
• Mandibular advancement devices for dental management of obstructive sleep apnea

Beyond models, we print custom trays for precise denture impressions, surgical guides for implant placement, and custom temporary teeth for large and complex cases.
