3D printing is one of the more exciting technological advances in recent years and has had an outsized impact in dentistry. Our office has a printer in-house as do most of the laboratories that we work with.

3D printing is highly accurate and has replaced the traditional stone plaster models of old. In our office we use 3D printed models for most all of the following procedures:

  • Study models for planning complex cases
  • Crowns & bridges
  • Dental implant restorations
  • Retainers & mouthguards
  • Mandibular advancement devices for dental management of obstructive sleep apnea

In addition to study models, we have the ability to print custom trays for intimate fits for dentures, surgical guides for dental implant surgical planning, and custom temporaries for large and complex cases.
