Dr. Chad Stevenson received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 1984 and his dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1988. After graduation, he joined the United States Indian Health Service providing dental care to Native Americans in New Mexico and Montana. Dr. Chad returned to Des Moines and entered private practice on Grand Avenue in 1990.
From 2010 to 2021, Dr. Chad spent his Wednesday's at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics, working as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Family Dentistry supervising senior dental students in their final months of clinical training. He still substitutes in the department.
He and his wife, Lori, reside in West Des Moines and have three grown children. When not practicing, Dr. Chad enjoys being outdoors, playing tennis, and spending time with his family.
